Ainsi ce pinotage, tir\u00e9 du croisement de pinot et de cinsault, obtenu il y a pr\u00e8s de cent ans (1924) en Afrique du Sud. Sa plantation dans les parchets m\u00e9canisables de Varen, il y a dix ans, \u00e9tait une gageure. Confirm\u00e9e d\u00e8s 2018\u00a0: \u00e0 cause du \u2014 ou gr\u00e2ce au \u2014 r\u00e9chauffement climatique et \u00e0 la s\u00e8cheresse, n\u00e9cessitant un apport d\u2019eau au goutte-\u00e0-goutte, des c\u00e9pages <em>\u00abexotiques\u00bb<\/em> peuvent s\u2019\u00e9panouir dans les zones de semi-steppe du Valais.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">D\u00e9gust\u00e9 cet \u00e9t\u00e9 autour d\u2019un barbecue, ce rouge riche et charnu a \u00e9t\u00e9 appr\u00e9ci\u00e9. Sa belle couleur pourpre, sa densit\u00e9 sans asp\u00e9rit\u00e9, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa vinification en levures indig\u00e8nes en cuve de ch\u00eane tronconique et son \u00e9levage en f\u00fbts sans exc\u00e8s, sa souplesse et ses notes de fruits rouges et noirs, un peu poivr\u00e9es, ont enthousiasm\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce 2022 a remport\u00e9 une m\u00e9daille d\u2019or au Grand Prix du Vin Suisses (GPVS) 2023. Comme le pinot noir <em>Diversitas 2020<\/em> : mill\u00e9sime apr\u00e8s mill\u00e9sime, je l\u2019appr\u00e9cie \u00e0 la <em>M\u00e9moire des vins suisses<\/em> pour son fruit\u00e9 et son \u00e9l\u00e9gance! <strong>Olivier Mounir<\/strong> ne craint pas de mesurer ses vins en concours\u00a0: \u00e0 Expovina, \u00e0 Zurich, sa petite arvine 2022 a \u00e9t\u00e9 couronn\u00e9e meilleur vin blanc valaisan, avec une m\u00e9daille d\u2019or \u00e0 la cl\u00e9. Mais le m\u00eame cru n\u2019a obtenu qu\u2019une m\u00e9daille d\u2019argent (derri\u00e8re 18 ors) \u00e0 la S\u00e9lection des vins du Valais \u00e0 Sierre.
